Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2025
1. Educational Qualification
- 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- For DEO (Grade A): Must have Mathematics/Statistics as a subject in 12th.
2. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted

Selection Process
1. Tier-I (Computer-Based Test – CBT)
- Subjects: General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness
- Duration: 60 minutes (80 questions, 200 marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer
2. Tier-II (Descriptive Paper)
- Mode: Pen & Paper (Offline)
- Topics: Essay (200-250 words) & Letter/Application Writing (150-200 words)
- Duration: 60 minutes (100 marks)
3. Tier-III (Skill Test/Typing Test)
- For LDC/PA/SA: Typing Test (English: 35 WPM, Hindi: 30 WPM)
- For DEO: Data Entry Speed Test (8,000 key depressions per hour)
